On December 16, 2016, in the Moscow Government Building, the LLC “Integrated Marketing Technologies” ( http://www.xplaintome.ru ) organized a press conference at which they discussed innovative means for the development of domestic tourism.
Subjects of the Russian travel industry offer a wide range of services, routes and destinations for tourists with different financial capabilities and preferences. However, information about many of them often does not reach the end user. In some cases, the awareness of Russians about the country’s tourism opportunities is limited to the most popular resorts, while skiing and other destinations that can raise tourism in the country’s regions to a new quality level during the low season disappear from sight. It is of great importance for the development of domestic tourism to increase the awareness of Russian tourists about the unique tourist products of the regions of Russia, which are presented in the country’s tourism market and may be in demand by them.
SEM Complex (Integrated Marketing Technologies) was represented by General Director Aleksey Aleksandrovich Yakovlev, who demonstrated the possibilities of positioning regions through the creation of infographic materials, as well as the creation of presentation hand-drawn videos.

The presentation materials developed by the company fit into the Federal Target Program “Development of Domestic and Inbound Tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018).

The main purpose of creating digital content in terms of preparing presentation materials for the development of domestic tourism is the development of unified presentation materials for the development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation by raising awareness of the population of the country’s regions.
To achieve this goal, it was necessary to solve the following tasks:
- the features of the regional tourism product have been identified, which will be reflected in the presentation materials;
- developed presentation materials aimed at the development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation
- presentation materials were distributed via electronic and / or printed mass communication channels.
Also at the press conference it was proposed to use storytelling technology to popularize tourist destinations in the Russian Federation.
